Ginger Lily Cocktail Recipe

A flavourful warm cocktail created by Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, Ashwin Ryan.

Who said cocktails were only for the summer time? For our guests in the Northern Hemisphere we have created this special warm cocktail, using our signature Saxon ginger tea as a base for this flavourful warm winter treat.

Ginger Lily

Ingredients:

50ml Calvados
50ml simple syrup
25ml lemon juice freshly squeezed
75ml fresh ginger tea

Method:

Combine the Calvados, simple syrup, lemon juice and ginger tea in a cocktail shaker and stir together. Pour your stirred cocktail into a balloon style glass and garnish with ginger and fresh lemon. You could also use candied lemon as garnish, should you prefer. The Ginger Lily can be served warm to hot.
